Sara is a Biomedical Health Science student at Purdue University on a pre-medical track, with a strong interest in pediatric emergency medicine and public health. Her goal is to become an physician with a fellowship in pediatrics. Through her experiences as a volunteer EMT, preschool volunteer, camp counselor, and researcher, she has developed a passion for working with children and helping others in healthcare settings.

At Purdue, she am involved in research through the SHINE Lab, where she contribute to research focused on children’s social-emotional development and caregiver experiences. She also is involved in several campus organizations and mentoring programs that have strengthened her leadership, communication, and teamwork skills. Her academic and professional interests include pediatric healthcare, emergency medicine, public health, and research aimed at improving patient outcomes. Sara hopes to combine clinical medicine, research, and public health to make a meaningful difference in the lives of children and their families.
